Charlotte is now back in New Zealand after visiting Chico, California, USA where she receieved a set of state-of-the-art prosthetic legs from Elite Biomechanical Design.

Owner and Head Prosthetist Matt Daniels first met Charlotte at Camp-No-Limits in 2008 and again in 2009 when he volunteered as a Camp Leader.

Matt is himself a left leg amputee and knows only too well the issues Charlotte faces.

Charlotte was in the USA for 3 weeks as they cast, moulded, tooled & refined her new limbs and spent time with physiotherapists learning how to walk in them.

Within two days of arriving in America, Charlotte was filmed by North California CBS affiliate, KHSLTV for a current affairs item on the nightly news.
